“The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them: that’s the essence of inhumanity.” George Bernard Shaw

Who is this Shaw fellow? I google him. Fascinating.

I learn he’s a Nobel Prize winner. Literature. Wanted to refuse the award. Didn’t want the public acknowledgment. Wife made him accept it anyway. (And THEN I find out. Rumored: the two of them never consummated their relationship. Really??)

Now, I’m intrigued. Let’s call him George.

Famous playwright. Oscar winner, too. (Double love that his success came after five 1-2-3-4-FIVE failed novels.)

I guess he wasn’t discouraged. He wrote to influence. He wanted to change the world.

George inspires me.

Say hello to people you know. People you want to meet. People who may or may not say hello back. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes.

Hello has meaning. It’s full of possibility.

Widen your circle of compassion.

Say hello to the people on your path. It’s possible to change the world.
